Dec 15th

Holiday Lights@ Peacock Lane (S.E. Portland) starting tonight (from 6-11PM) and running through New Year's Eve.Since 1929, residents of this neighborhood have been decorating their homes with an extravaganza of festive lights and holiday decorations. Take a stroll and sip cocoa! For map and more details, go to www.peacocklane.net. Tonight and tomorrow night are pedestrian only nights!

A Rock&Roll Midsummer Night's Dream@ Conestoga Middle School (9985 SW 125th Ave., Beaverton) at 7PM.The Conestoga Drama Club has been hard at work since September to bring a really big show to the stage with a 50's spin on this Shakespearean comedy. Fairies, comic turns,  saddle shoes, trickster spells, dancing and a play within a play! Tickets -cash only- at the door are $5 for kids 5 years and older, $6 for seniors, $7 for adults and kids 4 years and under are FREE! Run time is about 2 hours with one intermission. Bring cash for concessions!!!!LAST SHOW!!!

Preschool Storytime@ Beaverton Library at Murray Scholls Branch from 9:30AM-10:AM. Get your morning started with fun stories for kids from 3ish to 5 years old at the newest branch! Fun for Ones (Ages 12-24 months)@ Tigard Library from 10:15-10:45AM AND 11:15AM-11:45AM. Bring your one year old for songs, rhymes, simple stories and movement activities. Great for new walkers. The Stomptowners, a dynamic group featuring traditional Irish instruments, voice and foot percussion will dance and play ancient carols and traditional tunes of the Celtic winter solstice. Princess Bride Actor -Cary Elwes@ Powell's at Cedar Hills at 7PM.
